What if I’ve never worked with a design professional?
Hey, that’s great. We all remember our first time, right? We’ll work together to be sure you’re comfortable at every step. Think of me as a therapist for your home.
I’m overwhelmed, where do I start?
The answer will be different for everyone but ask yourself what area of your home frustrates you the most. Those spaces are rewarding to tackle and give folks nearly immediate gratification. And we all could use a little more joy, couldn’t we?
I’m short on space, can you work with a small home or apartment?
Absolutely. Having lived in a postage stamp sized Brooklyn apartment, I’m no stranger to small living and creative solutions for storage and multi-functional needs.
How do home visits work?
We’ll find 45 minutes for an initial in-home conversation where you’ll walk me through the areas you’d like to address. It’s a critical step in discovering how you use your home and what needs some attention. We’ll touch on priorities, budget, timelines and any other questions you may have.
Has COVID-19 changed how you work?
Yes. While I love to travel and experience spaces directly, there are new ways of working that keep everyone safely distanced. I’m available for virtual consultations and remote home visits. You’d be amazed how much can be done using texts, video and photos.
If you’re comfortable having someone in your home, I offer contactless support with ear to ear smiles from behind a mask.
How much will this cost me?
I work on both an hourly and project fee basis, depending on what makes the most sense. Total costs vary widely based on the scope of work–some jobs will be completed in a few hours, others may take weeks or longer. During our initial home visit we’ll discuss in more detail, including your ideal budget and initial timing estimates.
